Getting from Inverness to Glasgow or Edinburgh

If you're looking for the best way to get from Inverness to Glasgow or Edinburgh, you have 4 choices: 1) Bus, 2) Train,  3) Flight, or 4) Private Driver.

The bus is the least expensive and has the most times available and will take you directly to the airport: https://www.megabus.co.uk/

The train is nice because you can get up and walk around and it has food and toilets. I recommend The Trainline or Omio.

For Flights, I recommend using Kayak to look for fligths, but always book your flights on the airline's website. See my blog about booking flights.

The nicest, but most expensive option is to hire a private driver. I can get a quote for you but it can run up to $900 per day.
